2012
Though I was assigned to the GATE programs during this summer, I also helped the Advanced Placement program, directed by Karen Linville, with set up and organization. This was an extensive process as each of the four day sessions required hundreds of textbooks to be delivered to classrooms and much technology set up for each instructor. I also helped with registration of both the AP sessions and Beginning Teacher and Mentor sessions.
I returned to the office during my winter break, where I began working on a pre-requisite quiz for the next summer's Infusing Technology program. I had to design a simple quiz to gauge iPad users' skill levels and determine if participants needed three or four days of instruction. I also created a packet with links to iPad tutorials and blogs with instructions on how to do basic tasks on the iPad, such as changing volume, taking pictures, and connecting to WiFi. I also spent time during winter break categorizing the thousands of professional development sessions held throughout the state by various organizations to make sure that quotas were being met.

2013
Throughout this summer I still assisted with set up and clean up for Advanced Placement and Teacher Academy programs by helping distribute textbooks and other supplies and set up technology for facilitators.
I returned to the office during my winter break to assist with more iPad Basic training and begin preparing for the following summer. I spent a lot of time inputting survey results from the sessions held throughout the fall so that these responses could be analyzed at a later date and sessions modified accordingly.

2014-2015
I continued to help with the Advanced Placement program sessions with set up, registration, and clean up during each of the three weeks that they held sessions. I was also responsible for helping specific facilitators with whatever needs they might have. If an AP consultant arrived later than expected, I would sit in that session to help the participants with their individual assignments and needs.
Since I was the oldest and most experienced intern in 2014, I was also unofficially responsible for helping the new interns understand their tasks and roles both inside and outside of the office. I trained other interns on using technology and office supplies, and I made sure that the level of professionalism within our organization was still upheld.
