2012
I helped coordinate several two-day Safe and Supportive Schools sessions, which helped teams of teachers from various schools around the state develop and implement programs in their schools to provide safe environments for students and support and reward their efforts. I was also required to help with lodging, set up, and registration of these sessions, and I provided whatever materials were necessary, including programs with schedules and biographies of facilitators. I provided facilitators with appropriate technology and other resources.
2013
Safe and Supportive Schools was again the same program with some added features. The session was still held for two days at various locations, and teams of three to six teachers from a school came to develop and implement programs in their school to produce safe and supportive environments for students. This year, I had to create team packets for each school with survey data from teachers and students about the environments of their schools. I designed special labels for both the folders and the flash drives that accompanied them. For each session, and there were several over the course of the summer, I created a program booklet for each participant, and I helped with registration, set up, and clean up of each event, including working with projectors and computers.
